Terrace End Traders” was originally opened in Main Street in the 1970’s by Gary Ronberg, a well-known and respected antiques dealer in Palmerston North. Upon Gary’s retirement in 2010, Yasmin Key took over the business name and shop in June 2010. Since then Yasmin has operated from shops in Ruahine Street and more lately in the Broadtop shopping centre at the top end of Broadway Ave.
Yasmin has now moved her shop to bigger and brighter premises at 62 Russell Street, Palmerston North so she can introduce a wider range of stock including furniture. Yasmin is now going to be open weekends so you can shop at your leisure.
Terrace Traders sells an eclectic range of goods from Crown Lynn to Susie Cooper, copper ware to kitchenalia. With a bigger retail area Yasmin is planning to increase her range of period furniture as well.
The new shop will be open in early March 2017 and she invites collectors and the curious to call in to browse and buy. With this new website Yasmin, will be updating images taken of new stock but there will be too much to photograph so call in and say hi during trading hours.
